The Different Types of Vertical Grinders

Model56VL, model 56VK, model 56VZ, models: V, Z, VI, VII, VIII, X, and XIV Vertical grinders are manufactured by Triturare and are the leading vertical grinders in the industry. Model56VL Vertical grinder (2 horsepower motor), with standard (1 pound), adjustable (5 pounds) manual, and (7″ Type 11 Cup Wheel guard) for grinding fine and coarse materials. Model56VK Vertical grinder (2 horsepower motor), with a 5 pound (2 pound) manual and (7″ Type 9 Cup Wheel guard) for grinding coarse and fine materials. Model56VZ Vertical grinder (2 horsepower motor), with a 3 pound (1 pound) manual and (7″ Type 9 Cup Wheel guard) for grinding finer materials.

Model56VL and 56VK models, have dual speeds. The manual and automatic switch are located near the handle of the vertical grinder. Model56VZ model has an electric motor which can be used to start and stop the vertical grinder. Model 56VZ also includes two brushes and a motor control. It has a “no-stick” control. The two brushes are used for grinding.

Model56VK features four brushes (two at the front and two on the sides). Model56VK also features a “no-stick” control. The four brushes are used for grinding. Models: VI and VIZ models, feature two brushes and no electric motor. The main advantage of this type is the more compact design. This type of vertical grinder is more expensive than the others.

Model VII and VIII models, have two brushes and an electric motor. They can be used with all types of wood including mahogany, pine and oak. Model XVI models, have two brushes and an electric motor.

Model XIV models, are similar to VI and VIII models but have three brushes and an electric motor. Models: XIV also feature two brushes. The brushes can be used for grinding. Turning on and off the power switch automatically starts the motor and stops it when the switch is pressed again. Models: XIV also have an oil reservoir that contains a lubricant and oil reservoir, and vacuum pump, which is necessary to operate the unit.

Model: VIZ models come with an extractor plate, which is necessary for grinding. It is attached to the bottom of the vertical grinder. Model: VI and VIZ models also feature an extractor plate, which is necessary for grinding. . Model: VIII models have a built in reservoir and oil pan.

Model: XIV models have an extractor plate, which is necessary for grinding. Model: VI and VIZ models also feature an extractor plate, which is necessary for grinding.

There are two ways of purchasing a grinder. One way is by purchasing one that is already assembled. Another way is to assemble the grinder on your own. Both ways are recommended.
